Integration, no separate system
From transaction to structured e-invoice
The receipt is already there. The e-invoice comes from it. Every sale on your till is already recorded with fiskaltrust. The add-on turns exactly those receipts into compliant e-invoices. No second system, no retyping.
A plain PDF is not an e-invoice.
True e-invoicing means exchanging invoice data in a structured, machine-readable format like XML, so systems process it automatically.
A PDF or paper invoice
An image of an invoice. It cannot be validated or processed automatically, and it will not satisfy EU mandates.
A structured e-invoice
Machine-readable data in an EU-compliant format, validated and exchanged automatically between systems and authorities.
One flow. Three ways in.
Every e-invoice is one job with three steps: create, transmit, track. What changes is only where the buyer identity comes from. Managed in the fiskaltrust Portal alongside every other receipt.
In the back office
After the sale
Convert the receipts already in the fiskaltrust.Portal. Attach the buyer, generate, transmit.
Integration: none.
At the checkout
During payment
The fiskaltrust.InStoreApp captures the business identity at the sale and confirms it is transmittable.
Integration: a small config.
In your software
Owned by the POS
The POS drives create, transmit, and status through the fiskaltrust.PosSystemAPI, end to end.
Integration: full API.
The mandates are dated.
E-invoicing is arriving country by country. Each market sets its own format, network, and date. These are the legal deadlines your merchants face. fiskaltrust availability is rolling out market by market.
No B2B mandate yet
B2G e-invoicing has been mandatory since 2014, using ebInterface or Peppol BIS. For B2B, e-invoicing is voluntary today, and no mandate is drafted. From 1 July 2030, ViDA requires structured e-invoices for cross-border B2B sales inside the EU.
B2B mandate takes effect
Every business must already be able to receive structured e-invoices, that started 1 January 2025. Issuing becomes mandatory from 1 January 2027 for businesses over €800,000 turnover, and from 1 January 2028 for everyone else.
SDI clearance since 2019
Italy moved first. Structured e-invoicing through the Sistema di Interscambio (SDI) has been mandatory for B2B and B2C transactions since 2019, using the FatturaPA XML format.
Phased rollout begins
From 1 September 2026, every business must be able to receive e-invoices, and large and mid-sized companies must issue them. Small and micro businesses follow on 1 September 2027.
KSeF issuance phases in
KSeF became mandatory for large taxpayers (over PLN 200 million turnover) on 1 February 2026, and for all other VAT-registered businesses from 1 April 2026. Micro-entrepreneurs follow from 1 January 2027.

One integration against every mandate. National formats, networks and format migrations stay on our side of the line. You keep the API and credentials you already use.
Methods A and B need no code, your customers are compliant before you write a line
Method C: mark the receipt as a B2B invoice on the /sign call you already make, then /issue
Same PosSystemAPI, same CashBox, same headers, no new SDK

Method C · the real contract
POST /sign

Europe is moving to structured, real-time invoice data.
ViDA, the EU's "VAT in the Digital Age" reform, sets the direction: structured invoices and digital reporting close to the moment of sale. National mandates come first, the EU layer follows.
Now–2028 National mandates
Italy since 2019, Germany 2025 to 2028, Poland from 2026, France from 2026. Each country sets its own format, network and date.
2030 ViDA for cross-border sales
From 1 July 2030, structured e-invoices with digital reporting become mandatory for B2B sales between EU countries, built on the European standard EN 16931.
2035 National systems align
By 1 January 2035, domestic e-invoicing systems align with the EU model. National rules stay in place; SDI, KSeF and the others carry on.
Questions, answered.
Is a PDF an electronic invoice?
No. A PDF qualifies only when it carries structured, machine-readable data that meets EU standards. True e-invoicing uses formats such as XML that systems process automatically.
Do I need a separate integration per country?
No. One integration. fiskaltrust maps the format, picks the network, and meets the reporting rule for each market. You add a country by configuring the signature unit type, not by rebuilding.
Is e-invoicing the same as e-reporting?
No. They are separate processes. E-reporting is tax-focused and country-specific, and often needs broader business data. This page covers e-invoicing only.
When is my deadline?
It depends on your market. Germany mandates B2B from 1 January 2027. France phases in from 1 September 2026. Italy is already live via SDI. Poland phases KSeF from 2026. Austria has no B2B mandate yet. Confirm the current date for your market before acting.
How is it priced?
A flat 0.10 euro per document to the merchant, no tiers and no platform fee. Channel partners who sell and install the add-on earn a revenue share.
